BIGLITTLE Theatre School Summer Schools

BIGLITTLE Theatre School runs a summer programme of musical theatre courses and West End Workshops for children and young people of different ages and experience levels. Participants can choose from shorter one-day workshop experiences or week-long Musical In A Week projects, all designed to help them develop performance skills, confidence, and creativity in a fun but professional environment.

Younger children focus on creative holiday fun, while intermediate students work more closely on the process of putting on a show as part of a company of young actors. Senior students tackle a faster-paced and more demanding project designed for those with existing musical theatre experience.

All projects are led by experienced professional teachers and creative staff, with directors, choreographers, musical directors, and pastoral care support working together to prioritise wellbeing. The summer school takes place at the Performing Arts Centre, Bournemouth School for Girls.

Families receive complimentary tickets for the final performances, and there are options for early drop-off and late pick-up childcare at extra cost. Students do not need to be regular BIGLITTLE performers to join, and booking can be made through the myBLTS portal, webshop, or contact form.
