Immerse Education's Biology Summer School in Cambridge is a two-week, intensive programme for students aged 16-18 that explores university-level topics in genetics, ecology and human biology. Teaching is delivered by experienced tutors (often PhD candidates or graduates from leading universities) through small-class, in-depth academic sessions and 1-on-1 tutoring.
Participants complete a personalised research project, take part in hands-on experiments, and attend seminars and guest speaker sessions. The programme includes structured academic time (approximately 40 hours), opportunities for critical analysis, and personalised feedback designed to strengthen university applications.
A certificate of achievement/attendance is awarded on completion.
Residential students are housed in University of Cambridge colleges (assigned prior to arrival), with meals, social activities and excursions (including day trips to Oxford and London) included. Multiple session dates are available across July and August 2026 and there are both residential and non-residential package options.
Enrolment is via the Immerse website.
