Bird & Bird Virtual Experience Programme

Bird & Bird’s Virtual Experience Programme is a free, self-paced online work experience opportunity delivered in partnership with Forage. It gives participants a chance to explore what life is like as a solicitor at an international law firm and to build a clearer understanding of the work lawyers do day to day.

The programme is designed to help you develop practical knowledge of the solicitor role and to show how that experience can be used in a recruitment process. It is intended as a starting point for anyone researching the firm or considering a career in law, with no previous legal experience required.

By the end of the programme, participants receive a certificate to share with employers and their professional network, along with a recruiter-approved guide on how to present the experience during applications. It takes around 7 to 8 hours to complete and can be accessed online from a tablet, PC or laptop.
