CLOSED THIS CYCLE

Birmingham Hospice is looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help run The Hive Café at its Selly Park and Erdington sites. Volunteers help create a welcoming space for colleagues, patients, visitors and their loved ones by serving drinks, homemade cakes and snacks with a friendly face.

The role is hands-on and varied. Typical tasks include taking customer orders, preparing food and drinks to the required standard, handling cash and card payments, keeping an eye on stock levels, reporting faults, and making sure the café area stays clean, tidy and safe.

Food safety guidance must be followed at all times.

This volunteering opportunity offers a chance to meet new people, make friends and be part of the Birmingham Hospice team. It can also help you develop new skills, use existing ones in a practical setting, and gain experience for your CV.
