Birmingham Hospice is looking for customer-focused volunteers to support several of its charity shops across Birmingham and the surrounding area. Retail volunteers help welcome and assist customers, keep the shop floor running smoothly, and contribute to the day-to-day work that helps raise vital funds for the hospice.
The role can include sorting donations, cleaning, steaming, pricing, displaying and rotating stock, as well as till work, general shop floor support and other practical tasks depending on the store. Volunteers are expected to be friendly, proactive and reliable, and the opportunity offers a chance to learn new skills, meet people and gain experience in a busy retail environment.
Morning and afternoon shifts are available, with different local shops needing support across the week.
