Black Mountains College and partners invite you to a hands-on workshop exploring careers that contribute to a healthier planet and society. Participants will map what we know and don’t know about futures shaped by climate change, examine different scenarios, and work backwards to identify practical actions and skills needed now.
You will hear from Nirushan Sudarsan (Youth Forum) about youth leadership, campaigning and making career choices, and Black Mountains College will present information about studying their 'Sustainable Futures: Arts, Ecology and Systems Change' degree. The session is interdisciplinary and welcomes participants with interests in the arts, ecology, sciences and vocational areas.
The workshop is free to attend but places must be reserved. It takes place at Global Gardens, Cardiff on Sunday 19th April from 13:00-17:00. Minimum age to attend is 16 years; the event is described as open to people of all ages and backgrounds.
