The Boston Engineering Summer School Programme at Suffolk University is a two-week pre-college residential course for high school students. Participants aged 15 618 study core engineering disciplines including mechanical, structural, and electrical engineering through university-style lessons, project-based learning and practical sessions in design, prototyping and testing.
Students live on campus in Miller Hall with twin rooms and shared facilities, and the programme includes communal meals (breakfast and dinner) and supervised social and cultural activities. Weekend excursions give students a chance to explore Bostons landmarks and nearby destinations such as Cape Cod.
The programme culminates in a formal graduation ceremony and students receive a certificate of participation. The course aims to deepen subject knowledge, develop practical skills, and provide insight into engineering career pathways and university study.
