Short, office-based placements offer a look inside creative-industry work and may include time in the Learning, Gallery, Marketing and Studio departments. They’re for students with a strong interest in visual arts and an art background at school or college.

Bow Arts offers creative careers support for schools and colleges, helping students explore pathways into the creative industries. Sessions can include talks and assemblies, career-focused workshops and masterclasses, creative careers events, and mentoring with Bow Arts studio artists and industry partners.

These activities can be tailored to any key stage and are suitable for all year groups and targeted learner groups. Bow Arts also offers a limited number of short work experience placements for students with a strong interest in visual arts and a school or college art background.

Placements are usually office-based and may include time in the Learning, Gallery, Marketing and Studio departments.

Applications for work experience are encouraged for the Spring and Summer terms. Students apply using the online form, and Bow Arts contacts applicants afterwards to confirm whether a placement can be offered.

Priority is given to students from underrepresented backgrounds in the arts, and placements are only available to students at schools in specific London boroughs.
