Ready to challenge your brain? Enter the free UK Brain Bee to explore neuroscience, build research-ready skills and boost your uni/career profile-study with provided materials, take the online prelims and compete at the UK final hosted at Imperial College London.

Prize: Winner represents the UK at the International Brain Bee (IBB) World Championship; top scorers advance to the UK Brain Bee Final at Imperial College London.

The UK Brain Bee is an annual neuroscience competition for secondary school students across the UK. Participants register free of charge and can enter individually or through their school. Entrants use freely provided neuroscience study materials to prepare for an online preliminary round, with top scorers advancing to the UK Brain Bee Final held at Imperial College London.

The competition is open to students aged 13-18 who are currently studying GCSE, A-Level, or equivalent qualifications and requires no prior neuroscience experience. The winner of the UK final goes on to represent the UK in the International Brain Bee (IBB) World Championship.
