Grassroots Suicide Prevention are recruiting marquee volunteers, photographers and cheer volunteers to support their Pier Partnership at the Brighton Half Marathon on Sunday 1 March 2026. Roles include setting up and packing down equipment, welcoming and supporting runners, offering refreshments, capturing event photography for social campaigns and portfolios, and cheering at designated points along the course.
Volunteers will gain live events experience and, for photographers, portfolio opportunities. Volunteers will receive a free suicide prevention training session and the chance to develop teamwork, confidence and motivational skills while supporting a charity focused on saving lives.
The listing emphasises events experience and promotional opportunities for photographers and the value of contributing to a high-profile local event. The event takes place at the start/finish on the Hove Lawns by the Peace Statue (Kingsway, Hove, BN3 2PE).
