Join Deloitte’s BrightStart: earn a salary, study part-time at Belfast Met, and gain ATI then ACA qualifications over a 5-6 year apprenticeship - a paid alternative to university with funded professional qualifications and mentoring.

The BrightStart Apprenticeship Programme is a 5-6 year, work-based route into professional services at Deloitte. Apprentices work full-time for Deloitte in Belfast while studying part-time at Belfast Metropolitan College (Belfast Met).

In the first two years apprentices complete the Accounting Technician (ATI) qualification and then progress onto the ACA programme with Deloitte, ultimately earning three professional qualifications and advancing to an Associate 1 role.

Participants earn a competitive salary from day one, avoid tuition costs and receive structured study support, mentoring and professional training. The programme emphasises hands-on experience on real client projects, career progression, and access to Deloitte’s global network.

Recruitment is streamlined (a single 30-minute interview) and course start dates align with mid-September work starts. Applicants are expected to register with Belfast Met once they accept an offer.
