Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s Young Conservatoire is a term-time acting programme for aspiring performers aged 16 to 18 who want to develop their craft and explore the path towards professional training. It is designed to sit alongside school or college qualifications, with weekly evening classes that build a rigorous foundation in acting technique.

Duration: 10 weeks per term
Location
In-person · Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Downside Road
- Ages 16-18.
- Applicants must be aged 16 or above on the first day of the course.
- Entry is by audition.
- You must prepare a two-minute speech from a published play for the audition.
- Bursary applications are assessed case by case and may consider financial hardship, disability, low progression to higher education, care experience, or being part of a group considered hard to reach.
- You must be over 15 to complete the bursary application form.
Participation fee: £205
£205 per 10 week term. There is no audition fee.
