This Engagers Bristol Summer Programme is a supervised, on-campus academic boarding course for ambitious teens aged 15-17 preparing for Sixth Form pathways (IB, A Levels) and advanced study in English. Sessions combine rigorous subject tuition, academic English development (CLIL approach) and leadership training.
Class sizes are small (max 15) with around 30 learning hours per week.
Students select a personalised timetable from a wide subject list (Applied Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Business, English, History, Psychology, Media Studies, Sport, and more). The programme includes academic lessons, essay and interview preparation, critical thinking (Theory of Knowledge style) and bespoke career profiling.
All participants take part in the "Be a Leader" personal development journey and receive a CPD-recognised leadership certificate and a personalised "My Career Choice" profile.
The course is delivered at Sidcot School near Bristol with full boarding accommodation, 24/7 supervision, structured daily routines and a rich extracurricular programme of cultural visits and outdoor adventures (surfing, hiking, Thorpe Park, London day trips).
