Want to kickstart your career at British Airways? Join a three-year Business Professional apprenticeship at Waterside/Heathrow, take real responsibility from day one - analyse performance data, run meetings and organise conferences while studying for a Business Administration qualification.
British Airways' Business Professional Apprenticeship is a three-year emerging talent programme based at Waterside (British Airways Head Office) and London Heathrow. Apprentices are given real responsibility from day one and will carry out tasks such as collating and analysing performance data, running meetings at Heathrow and organising internal conferences.
During the first 12 months you will study towards a Business Administration apprenticeship qualification, with tailored conversations afterwards to explore progression onto a specialised apprenticeship pathway (Engineering head office, Transformation/Project Management, or General Head Office routes).
The programme starts in Autumn 2026. Salary will start from A316,000 (scheme dependent) and apprentices benefit from a supportive network, discounted travel, volunteering and development opportunities, and increased pay after successful completion of the first year (subject to development objectives).
The role is based in-person at Waterside, British Airways Head Office, London.
To apply, complete the online application (including all online tests) by the closing date. Successful applicants progress to a video interview and then to an Assessment Centre in March 2026. Applicants should note high volumes may close applications early and that only one apprenticeship application will be considered.
Business Administration apprenticeship qualification (studied during the first 12 months); opportunity to progress onto a more specialised apprenticeship pathway in years 2-3.
