Deadline passed 3 days agoCLOSED THIS CYCLE

British Airways is offering work experience placements for students from Year 10 onwards, giving young people a chance to learn about different parts of the airline and airport operation. Placements are available across areas such as engineering, customer service and business, and may take place in locations connected with London and Glasgow.

Students can explore what happens behind the scenes in departments ranging from corporate functions to aircraft engineering and airport operations. The programme is designed for students who have potential, enthusiasm and a positive attitude rather than lots of experience.

British Airways says it will provide the training and support needed, while looking for applicants who are proactive, organised and good communicators. Successful participants are asked to complete a school consent letter, and after the placement there may be further opportunities through the Inspire Student Ambassador programme for those who want to continue developing employability skills and explore a future aviation career.
