Join the British Heart Foundation as a Sales Floor Volunteer in a charity shop role focused on customer service and day-to-day retail support. The charity funds research into heart and circulatory diseases, and volunteers play an important part in helping raise money for lifesaving science that improves the lives of families and loved ones affected by these conditions.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers entering the shop. Typical tasks include greeting customers, helping them find items, answering questions, promoting campaigns and in-store sales, working on window and shop displays, keeping the shop tidy and well organised, and supporting staff and fellow volunteers with customer queries.
The opportunity is flexible and inclusive, with a friendly team environment, and no fixed session times are set in advance.

Location
- Must be aged 17 or over.
- Applicants must not have any unspent criminal convictions.
Unpaid voluntary position. Reasonable travel expenses reimbursed. 25% discount on donated goods and 10% discount on New Goods. Access to training and development, refreshments available, volunteer certificates, references, long service awards, and access to discounts with other retailers.
