Join the British Heart Foundation’s Crewe Homestore as a furniture assembly volunteer and help turn donated or flat-pack items into high-quality display pieces and customer-ready furniture. The role is hands-on and practical, with tasks that include following build instructions, assembling flat-pack furniture safely, keeping the toolkit and workspace organised, and letting the manager know if any parts or defects are found.
You will work alongside the warehouse team, with support for larger items, and tools and training will be provided. The shop checks your work for quality, so this is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys DIY, working methodically, and taking pride in a neat finish.
This is an unpaid volunteering role with flexible shifts, designed to fit around your availability. British Heart Foundation also offers travel expense reimbursement and other volunteer perks, making it a friendly and supportive way to contribute to a charity that funds life-saving research.
