The British Psychology Olympiad is an academic competition open to secondary school students in the British Isles and internationally. Entry costs £15 per student. The competition is aimed primarily at Year 12 students (age 16-17) but welcomes ambitious entrants from Year 9 upwards.

All registered participants will sit Round 1 (Multiple Choice Question Selection Round) on Sunday 8 February 2026. The Round 1 test is an online, 1. 5-hour exam that each participant may take at any point on the day; access to the test is enabled from 09:00 GMT and the test window closes at 22:30 GMT.

Participants will receive the test link in the morning of Saturday 7 February 2026 and can begin the test via that link on Sunday 8 February at 09:00 GMT; once initiated the 1. 5-hour time limit is strictly enforced.

Students may register at any time up to 7 January 2026 at 09:00 GMT. Schools may register on behalf of groups of students and should pass the test link to each pupil when provided. For questions or if you do not receive the test link, contact Camille at camille@mindsunderground.
