Bucksmore's Young Professionals International Relations and Politics summer camp is a two-week, career-focused programme based at King’s College London. The course introduces high school students to politics, diplomacy and global governance while developing English language fluency in an academic and professional context.
Lessons combine theory with practical simulations (debate, negotiation and Model United Nations-style exercises) and include a Capstone Industry project with external certification. Outside the classroom, students take part in cultural excursions and industry workshops - examples include visits to London’s Parliament, City Hall, the Royal Courts of Justice and themed walking tours.
The programme runs approximately 25 teaching hours per week and includes two full-day and one half-day excursion per week, plus evening activities and a final presentation/award ceremony. Accommodation is provided in university student residences near central London.
The fully inclusive fee covers accommodation, food, tuition, activities, excursions, insurance and UK airport transfers (conditions apply). Day-student places are available (discounted), and the course requires a short online application including student passport and school details.
