Bucksmore's Young Professionals Business & Global Finance summer course in London is a two-week, career-focused programme for high-school students aged 13-17. Based at King's College London, the course blends English language development (minimum B1) with practical finance and business learning through workshops, simulations and industry visits.
Students engage in stock market simulations, investment banking projects, private equity challenges and startup design work, and build a portfolio of projects to support future study and careers. The programme includes a Capstone Industry project with external certification, guided by business education experts in a 'Shark Tank'-style pitch environment.
Teaching is supported by small international class groups, world-class tutors and supervised residential accommodation. The timetable features 25 contact hours per week plus 1 full-day and 3 half-day excursions each week (for example visits to the Financial District, Bank of England, London Eye and Cambridge).
Fees are shown per week and are fully inclusive of accommodation, meals, excursions, insurance and UK airport transfers (conditions apply); flights and visas are excluded. The online application collects student passport and school details and requires parent/guardian information; a £500 reservation fee is required to secure a place.
