Join Amey's Manchester Street Lighting team as a Business Admin Apprentice based at Factory Lane, Harpurhey, Manchester (M9 8AB). This in-person apprenticeship starts April 2026 and offers a competitive starting salary of £25,913 per annum.

You will work Monday-Friday (7:30-16:00) supporting operational teams that deliver and maintain street lighting services across Manchester and the UK.

As an apprentice you will be enrolled onto an Administration Assistant Level 3 apprenticeship (approx. 21 months). Day-to-day tasks include answering and actioning telephone calls, managing emails, composing communications with the public, organising paperwork, maintaining digital records and spreadsheets, running reports from internal systems, greeting visitors, and supporting GDPR-compliant record keeping.

You will receive 1-2-1 support from a partnered training provider, e-learning materials and structured mentoring throughout the programme.
