Join the BBC as a Business Analyst with AI Level 4 apprentice based at Belfast Broadcasting House. This full-time, fixed-term apprenticeship combines on-the-job experience with formal study (at least one day per week) to develop skills in AI-enabled business transformation, ethical AI decision-making, stakeholder engagement, solution assessment, business case development and project management.

You will work within Audience Services contributing to AI-driven business solutions, learning industry tools and ethical frameworks while supported by dedicated managers and mentors. The BBC emphasises inclusive culture, professional development, and networking opportunities; apprentices receive industry-leading training via the BBC Academy and their learning provider, and a bespoke apprenticeship experience including development days and community membership.

Successful applicants must meet eligibility checks (including right to work and a UK residency requirement) and hold GCSEs in maths and English (grade 4/C or equivalent). The BBC offers a competitive salary, relocation financial support subject to eligibility, and career support on completion of the apprenticeship.

  • Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2026.
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.
  • Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.
  • Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme (with the BBC or another organisation).
  • Not have completed or hold qualifications in the apprenticeship subject at the same or higher level.
  • Have maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above or National 5 (Scotland) at C or equivalent qualification.
  • Scheme is aimed at non-graduates.
  • Must live within a commutable distance of the Belfast role (or only apply to one location).

£22,950 per year

Pay & Benefits

£22,950 per year. Benefits include a competitive salary package, 35-hour working week, 25 days annual leave (26 days for BBC Studios), defined pension scheme and access to discounted healthcare and gym; additional apprenticeship support and training provided by BBC Academy and learning partners.
