Guided by NFTE-certified instructors and industry speakers, participants learn core business concepts (market research, business structures, budgeting and financial management), develop a lean business model canvas, and refine a pitch.
The course culminates in a final pitch competition and provides portfolio materials including a course completion certificate and a letter of recognition.
The program runs in UC Berkeley’s campus environment and offers both residential (boarding) and day options, with structured daily schedules combining academic sessions, supervised activities and excursions. International students receive visa support information and an international registration package (transportation, insurance and pre-arrival assistance).
To apply, students must complete the Summer Institute Application and follow the booking/enrolment process on the provider site.
