Buttercrumble DesignHer Networking: Peer Mentoring

DesignHer Networking: Peer Mentoring is a peer-powered networking event created to help people from underrepresented backgrounds access creative opportunities. Founded by Buttercrumble, a female-led design studio, the network is built around belonging, lived experience, and practical support for people looking to break into or progress within the creative industries.

The event welcomes West Yorkshire women, including trans and non-binary people, who face barriers linked to class, race, disability, gender identity, or caring responsibilities. Sessions combine guest mentoring with peer-to-peer exchange, giving attendees the chance to share experiences, talk through challenges, and hear about upcoming creative events and opportunities.

This particular session takes place in person in Leeds and forms part of DesignHer’s wider tour across West Yorkshire. Between events, members can also access an online hub of resources to stay connected and inspired.
