Buzzacott is recruiting a school-leaver to join its internal Finance team as a Finance Apprentice, with the role due to commence in January 2026 at the firm's London office. The successful candidate will provide daily, flexible support to the Finance team and help maintain timely and accurate financial records, reports and accounts for the firm.

Duties include posting cash receipts, reconciling client ledgers, processing credit card transactions, assisting with month-end reporting, expenses processing, client billing and receivables, updating timesheets and exchange rates, and general administrative support such as taking meeting minutes and coordinating team schedules. The role requires adherence to ICAEW Clients' Account Rules and close collaboration with a small finance team.

This is a structured apprenticeship where you will study towards the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications through a mix of tutor-led courses, private study, exams and on-the-job training. Buzzacott provides mentor support, external tutors, and a dedicated Learning & Development team; incremental salary increases are provided as you achieve milestones in your qualification.

The position is based at Buzzacott's main London office (130 Wood Street, EC2V 6DL).

  • 120 UCAS tariff points from 3 A-levels, or equivalent.
  • Level 6 (B grade using the old system) in GCSE Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the training contract.
  • Do not accept General Studies or applications from part-qualified applicants.
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Highly organised and reliable.
