Solar inks - Glen Esk is a creative workshop led by Crathie-based artist Naomi Mcintosh. Participants will learn how to create ink pigments from garden and foraged plants, then use those natural inks for drawing and painting.
The session explores the hidden world of plants, including their historical and folkloric uses as inks, while encouraging people to experiment with new materials and ways of making art inspired by the natural world. It is designed as a fun, welcoming activity for everyone, regardless of experience or ability, and light refreshments are provided.
