Cardiff UniversityOpen Day programme offers a full day of activities for prospective undergraduate students, including subject-specific sessions run by academic schools, general talks on UCAS and student finance, campus tours and accommodation tours, and a drop-in Open Day exhibition showcasing student support services and opportunities. Many talks are repeated throughout the day so pre-booking is not required for most sessions; however, in periods of high demand priority is given to prospective students and some sessions may limit the number of accompanying guests.
Subject-specific activity examples include school tours, information and drop-in sessions delivered by academic schools. Note that Psychology tours require booking on arrival at the relevant location. Additional features of the day include tours of facilities, information about places to eat on campus, and sessions on funding and next steps for applicants.
The programme is intended to help applicants make informed decisions about degree choices, campus life and practical aspects of applying to Cardiff University.
