Career Discovery Summer Experience - Summer Boarding Courses

The Career Discovery Summer Experience at Dulwich College (run by Summer Boarding Courses) is a two-week in-person summer programme for students aged 12-14. The course provides industry-led workshops and hands-on immersive simulations across Computer Science, Engineering, Business & Finance, Medical Sciences and Robotics/AI.

Participants work in small groups with peers and receive feedback from experienced professionals. The programme includes a day visit to University College London (UCL) Bloomsbury Campus for career preparation, CV basics and interview practice.

Each week offers 25 hours of academic content with practical case studies, teamwork tasks and an assessed activity culminating in a graduation ceremony. Specialist materials and English language development support are included.

On successful completion students receive a Certificate of Achievement and may request a personalised letter of reference. The course is designed for high-performing young students seeking an early, practical understanding of multiple career pathways and how to prepare for them.
