Career Quest Networking Accelerator

Career Quest Networking Accelerator is an interactive online workshop designed to help job seekers build confidence and practical networking skills. It focuses on the barriers people often face when meeting employers, starting conversations, and presenting themselves clearly, with the aim of helping participants create new opportunities.

During the session, attendees will learn how to introduce themselves effectively, make a strong first impression, keep professional conversations going, ask useful questions, and use LinkedIn to follow up after events. The workshop also covers confidence-building topics such as overcoming nerves, managing imposter syndrome, and staying positive while looking for work.

The event is highly interactive rather than lecture-based. Participants will take part in live networking exercises, ice breakers, breakout room activities, speed networking practice, role-play scenarios, group discussions, and confidence-building exercises.

A guest speaker will also share advice on resilience, motivation, and developing a positive mindset, and attendees will later be invited to a live Career Quest networking event to put their new skills into practice.
