Greet customers, run the till and sort donated stock while helping keep a hospice shop welcoming. You can also support visual merchandising and fundraising, building customer service and teamwork skills alongside friendly staff and volunteers.

Join St Catherine's Hospice as a shop volunteer and help keep its retail spaces running smoothly. Typical tasks include greeting and serving customers, operating the till, sorting and organising donated stock, and helping to keep the shop floor looking its best.

There are also opportunities to support visual merchandising, fundraising, and other day-to-day activities that keep the shops welcoming and well presented.

The role is flexible and suitable for people with different interests and availability, with a wide range of volunteering opportunities across the charity. It is a sociable role that can help you build customer service, retail, teamwork and communication skills while making a real difference to local people.

The hospice says it is a rewarding role with friendly staff and volunteers on hand to support you, and it can offer valuable experience for anyone beginning a new education or career path.
