Hear short, punchy talks from academics at the London School of Economics and the University of East Anglia, then explore how media language shapes the stories we tell and understand. Join in with typed comments, questions or your microphone on Zoom.

This live online insight4me Media session brings together Channel Talent, the London School of Economics and the University of East Anglia for an interactive webinar on media language. Each university delivers a short, punchy micro talk on its chosen angle within the overall theme, giving students a chance to hear from university academics and explore how media shapes the way stories are told and understood.

The event is designed for schools and colleges and is suitable for aged 16+ pre-university students with an interest in Media, Sociology and related disciplines. It is intended to support current studies while also showing how these subjects continue at university level and connect to wider academic pathways.

The webinar is live and participative, with opportunities to join in through typed comments, questions, or a microphone if preferred. It is run online via Zoom, is not recorded, and shared resources may be sent afterwards where available.

Students can take part as a class group from school or individually from home.
