Join the Charles Dickens Museum for a festive lunchtime talk presented by the Museum's Curator, Kirsty Parsons. The talk explores why Charles Dickens is so closely associated with Christmas, how Victorian social change shaped festive traditions and charitable giving, and how Dickens’s legacy influences how we celebrate Christmas today.

This is a hybrid event taking place at the Charles Dickens Museum (Doughty Street, London) and online via Zoom. A limited number of in-person places are available; online ticket holders will receive live access and a recording to watch later.

The content is aimed at adults but is suitable for attendees aged 12 and over.

Tickets cost £6 for either in-person attendance or online access. Book via the museum website or at the museum ticket desk. Please note all event tickets are non-refundable; further terms are available on the museum's ticketing pages.
