The Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship at Amazon combines full-time operational work with university study to develop future business leaders. Apprentices work on real projects across Amazon’s operational sites, building skills in leadership, people management, project and strategic planning, financial and business acumen, and risk and change management.
This is a full-time role (40-hour week, which may include weekend and/or night shifts) in which apprentices spend 20% of their time on university study-attending lectures, workshops and completing assignments-and 80% learning on the job supported by managers and mentors. The programme leads to a Level 5 Operations Manager apprenticeship followed by a Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship and a BA (Hons) or BSc (Hons) degree, with Chartered Manager accreditation from the CMI.
Applicants must meet the stated eligibility criteria (including right to work and residency requirements) and will progress through an online application, games-based assessment, one-way video interview and a virtual assessment centre. Successful apprentices often move into shift manager, team leader or other management roles within Amazon or related business functions.
