Join Miller and Carter in Southampton as a Production Chef apprentice and learn on the job in a busy, branded kitchen. You will be supported by experienced chefs to master menu standards, preparation, cooking to specification and kitchen routines while completing a Level 2 Production Chef apprenticeship.
Most time is spent working in the restaurant with practical, hands-on experience.
The apprenticeship includes a mix of on- and off-the-job training, regular reviews and feedback, and Functional Skills in English and maths if you do not already have GCSEs. The training provider is Lifetime Training Group Limited.
Hours are shift-based (including bank holidays, evenings and weekends) with 30 paid hours per week. Wage rates quoted are £10/hour for 16-20 year olds and £12. 21/hour for those 21 and over.
