Join Miller and Carter as a Production Chef apprentice based in Horsham, working as part of a busy kitchen team to prepare, cook and present food to business standards. You will gain hands-on experience working on shifts (including evenings, weekends and bank holidays) and complete on- and off-the-job training with regular reviews and feedback.

The apprenticeship leads to a Production Chef Level 2 qualification and includes Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

Training is delivered by Lifetime Training Group Limited through a mixture of face-to-face and remote learning, workshops and webinars. You will receive scheduled catch-ups every 4-6 weeks, formal reviews every 12 weeks with your line manager and trainer, and practical skills development covering food preparation, cookery techniques, hygiene, stock control, allergen management and health & safety.

This vacancy starts on 1 December 2025, is for one position at Unit 17 Piries Place (RH12 1EH, Horsham) and offers 30 hours per week. The employer is Mitchells & Butlers (Miller & Carter brand). You'll Earn

£10 per hour

Pay & Benefits

Wage: 16-20 years - £10.00 per hour; 21+ - £12.21 per hour. 30 hours paid work per week.
