LITE Regal’s Chemistry Summer Course is a two-week, on-campus programme designed for curious 13-15 year olds who are taking or about to take GCSE/IGCSE, IB or equivalent. The course combines morning lectures and afternoon workshops covering organic, inorganic and physical chemistry topics (density, pressure, moles, bonding, acids/bases, reaction balancing), with practical lab work, problem-solving tasks and industry-linked field visits that illustrate real-world chemical processes.

Teaching is delivered by experienced tutors and includes guest lectures, group debates, lab sessions and supervised visits to nearby chemical process plants. Students receive over 40 hours of tuition, course materials, academic reports and a certificate on completion.

The programme aims to build confidence, deepen subject knowledge ahead of school terms, and provide insight into chemistry-related careers while encouraging critical thinking and teamwork.

The residential option places students in university college accommodation (shared twin rooms, single-sex corridors) with 24/7 welfare staff, daily meals provided and an extensive social programme including coach excursions and cultural activities. Parents/guardians must provide consent and students must follow the Code of Conduct.
