Childcare Apprenticeship (Level 3) - Childbase Partnership (Maidenhead)

Join Childbase Partnership as an apprentice at their Mulberry Day Nursery in Maidenhead, working hands-on with children aged 0-5. Most of the apprenticeship is on-the-job: you'll work as part of a team to create safe, supportive learning environments, plan and deliver activities, complete observations linked to the early years curriculum, and manage coursework deadlines set by your assessor or tutor.

The programme includes off-the-job training and attendance at group sessions run by the employer's Training Academy of Excellence. You will study for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification and, if required, appropriate functional skills in maths and English.

Training comprises regular visits from a childcare trainer/assessor, eight group training sessions at the academy in Newport Pagnell, and an in-house support structure aimed at progressing apprentices to permanent nursery roles after successful completion.

Working hours are varied shifts, usually between 07:15 and 18:30 Monday to Friday (37 hours 30 minutes per week). The apprenticeship starts Monday 15 December 2025.
