Want paid hands-on childcare experience? Join Little Learners Nursery in Prenton as a Level 3 Early Years Apprentice-build real classroom skills, deliver activities, support development and safeguarding, and earn while training remotely with SWIFT ACI.
This paid apprenticeship places you in Little Learners Nursery (Prenton) to gain hands-on experience working with children from birth to 5 years. You will learn on the job delivering activities, supporting children’s learning and development, preparing resources, supporting self-help and personal care, and following safeguarding and health & hygiene procedures.
Training is delivered by SWIFT ACI for the Early Years Educator (Level 3) standard. You will complete remote training sessions (weekly during the first 8 weeks), gain Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and Level 3 Paediatric First Aid, and receive tutor support and visits to the setting.
The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts to be confirmed, and starts on 3 December 2025.
Essential entry requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4). On completion you will be a Level 3 practitioner with potential for a permanent position and progression into other childcare-related roles such as teaching, social work or management.

£11,778 per year
£11,778 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices.
