Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 Early Years Educator (LE)

This is a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship based at Tiny Toez Childrens Day Nurseries in Burton on Trent. The role is mainly workplace-based: you will work on the job supporting children’s learning and development, planning activities, preparing resources and food, supporting self-help and personal care for children from birth to 5 years, and following safeguarding and health & hygiene procedures.

There is one position available and the apprenticeship starts on 19 November 2025.

Training is provided by SWIFT ACI and delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams with tutor visits to the setting. You will complete online training sessions (weekly for the first 8 weeks), achieve a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and complete Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.

The programme combines practical workplace learning with scheduled remote study and professional development.

Requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4) and a willingness to be flexible with shifts (average 36 hours per week). The apprenticeship is paid (£14,133. 60 for the first year) and may increase depending on age and National Minimum Wage rules.

Successful completion can lead to a Level 3 practitioner role or other childcare-related career pathways.
