This programme usually runs again each year — keep an eye out for the next round, or explore what's live now.
Fancy exploring historic Oxford? Explore Christ Church’s quads, Hall, Cathedral and gardens, join guided tours of the Library and Bell Tower, and catch talks, demos and live music — build your uni awareness, meet academics and see college life up close.
Christ Church is taking part in Oxford Open Doors in partnership with the Oxford Preservation Trust, opening its historic site for a day of public access and exploration. Visitors can enjoy self-guided visits around the quads, cloister, Hall, Cathedral and gardens, with demonstrations, short talks and family activities taking place across the site throughout the day.
There are also guided elements available on the day, including tours of the Library, the Cathedral and the Bell Tower, plus a music programme featuring organ recitals, a sing-along session and Cathedral choir events. Advance online booking is required for general admission, while guided tours are offered on a first-come, first-served basis with limited places.
Visitors should also note site rules such as the adult accompaniment requirement for under-18s and restrictions on large bags and wheeled items.
