Explore Christ Church’s quads, cloister, Hall, Cathedral and gardens on a self-guided visit, then catch demonstrations, short talks and music events. You can also sign up for selected guided tours of the Library, Cathedral and Bell Tower, subject to availability.
Christ Church is participating in Oxford Open Doors in partnership with the Oxford Preservation Trust, offering visitors the chance to explore one of Oxford’s most famous college sites. The day is designed for self-guided visits and gives access to the quads, cloister, Hall, Cathedral and gardens, with entry managed by pre-booked tickets.
Alongside the self-guided route, the programme includes demonstrations, short talks and family activities taking place across the site during the day. Visitors can also sign up on the day for selected guided tours, including the Library, the Cathedral and the Bell Tower, subject to availability and capacity.
The event also features a music programme with organ recitals, a community singing session and Cathedral music events.
Location
- Children (under 18s) must be accompanied on site by an adult at all times.
- Commercial groups are not permitted to visit on this day.
