Curious what studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge feels like? Join Christ's College's hybrid taster day to attend talks with Fellows, Q&A with Directors of Studies, student panels, tours and careers sessions - build uni-ready insight, ask your questions and boost your application.

The Christ's Natural Sciences Taster Day is an annual, hybrid event for students to explore what it is like to study Natural Sciences at Christ's College and the University of Cambridge. The day includes welcome talks and Q&A with Directors of Studies, short academic talks, parallel academic options, a student life panel, a college tour (in-person) or virtual tour (online), and sessions on careers with a Natural Sciences degree.

Sessions are delivered by Christ's Natural Sciences Fellows and current students.

The event is run as a hybrid programme: attendees can choose to join in person at Christ's College, Cambridge, or online via Zoom. In-person attendees are responsible for travel to Cambridge; limited accommodation may be available the night before on a first-come, first-served basis.

Online attendees can participate fully (including Q&A and polls); sessions are live and will not be recorded. The 2026 event is expected to take place in February or March 2026 (date TBC); applicants are asked to register interest to be notified when applications open.

Eligibility is restricted to UK-school students who meet the stated academic and residency requirements (see eligibility criteria). Applications must be made by the individual student; those offered a place must be available for the live event on the day.
