Hear women across insurance careers share how they entered the industry, what they’ve learned and their advice. Explore roles from underwriting and claims to data, legal and marketing, then sharpen how you present yourself in applications before a networking reception.
Women into Insurance is a half-day event hosted by Bayes Business School in partnership with iWIN, the Insurance Women’s Inclusivity Network of the Worshipful Company of Insurers. It is designed to highlight the wide range of opportunities available within the insurance profession and to encourage more women to consider it as a rewarding and dynamic career path.
The programme includes panel discussions with women at different stages of their careers, offering first-hand insight into how they entered the industry, what they have learned, and what advice they would give to others thinking about insurance. It also explores the variety of roles available across the sector, including claims, broking, underwriting, actuarial work, business and data analysis, exposure management, legal and marketing.
The event also includes a career-focused session on how to present yourself effectively and stand out when applying for roles, followed by a networking reception. It is aimed at students, recent graduates, people considering a career change, and anyone curious about working in insurance.
