Explore career paths across government cyber and intelligence agencies at an in-person Manchester event. Hear about cyber, engineering, analyst, linguist and business roles, then get insight into agency culture and current opportunities through a panel Q&A with staff and apprentices.

This in-person event gives students an introduction to careers with Government Cyber and wider government intelligence agencies. It is aimed at young people interested in STEM and early careers opportunities, and offers a chance to hear about roles such as cyber, engineering, analyst and linguist, as well as business functions including HR and finance.

The day includes an introduction to the agencies and their culture, a look at career paths and current opportunities, and a panel Q&A with agency staff and apprentices. It is designed to give attendees a clearer picture of the breadth of roles available and what a career in this area can involve.

If selected, you will attend at a company office in Manchester, although the exact location will only be shared with successful applicants for security reasons. No photos, videos or recordings are allowed, and attendees must not share details of the event afterwards.

Certificates are not provided, but attendees may note participation on CVs or job applications.
