Hear from government cyber agency staff and apprentices, explore routes into cyber, engineering, analysis and linguistics, then put your questions to a panel. The in-person day also covers related roles in HR and finance.

This in-person work experience day is aimed at students in Year 12 and Year 13, as well as college and gap year students who are interested in a career in STEM. It offers a chance to learn more about the breadth of early careers opportunities within Government Intelligence Agencies and the wider Civil Service environment.

The day includes an introduction to government cyber agencies and their workplace culture, followed by talks on careers, current opportunities, and a panel Q&A with agency staff and apprentices. It is designed to give attendees a clearer picture of routes into roles such as cyber, engineering, analysis and linguistics, alongside related business functions including HR and finance.

Transport from an accessible location will be provided, and students selected for the event will be given the exact location closer to the time for security reasons.
