The Classical Association's Southport & Birkdale branch presents a public lecture by Dr Julia Clayton, Historian, Writer, and former Head of Classics at KGV College, Southport. The talk is titled "The Appropriation of Classics in the Third Reich" and will explore how classical texts and imagery were used and repurposed in Nazi Germany, examining historical context and implications for the study of classics.
