This is a one-day Latin Day School exploring the life and reign of Cleopatra, led by George Sharpley. The session will examine Cleopatra's family background among the Ptolemies, her political manoeuvres, and the literary evidence about her life, asking how much of the surviving narrative is shaped by bias and sensationalism.
The event runs on Saturday 25 April 2026 from 10:00 to 16:00 (local UK time) at the Roman Baths in Bath. It is aimed at adult learners and members of the public with an interest in Roman and Egyptian history and classical studies.
Tickets are £55 and booking is via the Roman Baths event page (link provided on the organiser's listing).
