The Cleantech Challenge is a Europe-wide student innovation competition that invites student teams to develop clean technology solutions and compete for funding and support. Finalist teams are invited to a two-day, in-person programme at London Business School where they receive industry mentorship, refine their solutions, and pitch to leading judges.
The competition awards £40,000 in prize funding (two £20,000 prizes) to help winning teams turn ideas into real-world impact. The programme brings technically minded students and business-focused thinkers together, pairing finalists with experienced cleantech founders, operators and investors who provide mentorship and support.
This year’s public final takes place on 23 April 2026; early bird tickets for the public are available. The Challenge is supported by sponsors including Gore Street Capital and Sky Zero and is aimed at students across disciplines who are developing climate and clean-technology innovations.
