Apply NowReady to boost your UCAT score? Join NIE's two-part workshop to master techniques across all four subtests, sit a timed mock under exam conditions, and build the skills and confidence that strengthen your uni and dental/medical applications.
The Comprehensive UCAT Workshop is a two-part programme run by the National Institute of Education (NIE) in partnership with UCAT Preparation Australia and MICAS. Day 1 covers fundamental techniques for navigating all four UCAT subtests (Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning and Situational Judgement).
In-person participants sit a timed UCAT mock under exam conditions; live-online participants are sent the practice test to complete at home under timed conditions and receive answers and explanations for self-study. Part 2 is a separate three-hour live online follow-up session (parents are encouraged to join).
This session provides guidance on the medical/dental application process, future planning strategies and an introduction to medical interview preparation, with time for questions from students and parents. The programme is aimed at school students preparing for UCAT (Years 9-12, and Year 13 in NZ) and recent school leavers considering the test.
Sessions are offered as both live online interactive classes and in-person workshops at selected NSW locations.
