Work as a Compressor Engineer Apprentice within Direct Air’s service and installations teams, gaining hands-on experience servicing compressors, dryers, filters and condensate systems, performing leak detection and installing pipework systems. The role involves practical workshop tasks and on-site customer work and may require travel to customer sites.
This apprenticeship combines workplace training with regular college or training-provider study (at least 20% of working hours) delivered via block release. Full training is provided and the programme leads to a Compressed Air and Vacuum Technician (CAVT) Apprenticeship.
Desired qualifications include GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C). The role is physically demanding, may involve working at height, and an allowance is provided for time spent working away from home.
