Deadline passed 67 days agoCLOSED THIS CYCLE

Immerse Education’s Computer Science summer school offers both residential (on-campus) and online options for secondary-school students. The programme covers core computer science topics such as Python programming, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), databases and data security, and introductions to AI and machine learning.

Students work on personal coding projects, participate in group workshops and seminars, and receive personalised feedback from tutors with academic and industry experience. Residential courses run on campus locations including Oxford and Cambridge (and residential offerings in other cities such as Sydney), with activities including day excursions, expert seminars, small-group workshops and 1-on-1 tutoring.

Online programmes provide live sessions, group discussion and guided independent research. On completion, participants receive a Certificate of Achievement, and students aged 14+ may opt in for an 8-UCAS-point recognised option.

The programme emphasises university-style study and preparation for higher education, helping students develop problem-solving, analytical thinking and practical coding skills. Tutors support ESL learners and tailor teaching to students of different prior experience levels.
